Of course this file is just to create your own sample, as artwork will vary by customer. But this is a great way to showcase your laser work and expand your product offerings!
For this project, we used a 50-watt Helix with the following settings:
Raster Settings: 100% speed, 100% power, 600 dpi, stucki dithering
Adjust the settings for your laser and wattage using the suggested settings from the manual.
Open the file and modify the design as you would like. Make sure the graphic is centered before you print.
Next, insert the plaque into your laser and send over the file.
If you're satisfied with the depth of engraving and overall look, remove the plaque and wipe off excess wood residue with a damp cloth. That's all there is to it!
